Children Under the Age of 18

Our Website is not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 may provide any personal information to or on the Website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.   • That is about you but individually does not identify you, such as purchases from BKPK, and information about your other purchases and/or
  • About your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Website, and usage details.

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Website or included in emails to you. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Website, subscribing to our mailing list, posting material, or ordering or requesting further products or services. We may also ask you for information when you enter a contest or promotion sponsored by us, when you register for events (including webinars, conferences or any programs that we host ourselves, but not events hosted by a third party event manager with its own privacy policies) and when you report a problem with our Website.

  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it. For example, if you give us an email address to use the “email a friend” feature of our Website, we will transmit the contents of that email and your email address to the recipients.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this site may then be inaccessible or not function properly (especially if your turn off essential and functionality cookies).
  • Promotional Offers from the Company. If you do not wish to have your email address/ contact information used by the Company to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by logging into the Website and adjusting your user preferences in your account profile by checking or unchecking the relevant boxes or by sending us an email stating your request to privacy@bkpk.ai. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt out does not apply to information provided to the Company as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience or other transactions.
  • Targeted Advertising. If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers’ target-audience preferences, you can opt-out by (logging in method)

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. Please also see Behavioral Tracking.

Examples of third parties with whom we may work that use targeting or advertising cookies to deliver ads include:

  • Google Analytics. To help facilitate the delivery of relevant content, we may use Google Analytics and retargeting tools. Google Analytics uses cookies to report on user interactions on our and others’ websites. We use the data collected for optimizing marketing, refining advertising and/or programming strategies, and generally improving user experience. Disclaimer regarding video content

BKPK materials may contain pixels which provide us and third parties with analytics regarding how website visitors interact with video content, audiovisual content, or content of a like nature. Video content is provided to enhance the user experience. You understand that your Personal Information, including your video viewing history, may be processed according to this Privacy Policy.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You can review and change your personal information by logging into the Website and visiting your account profile page.

You may also send us an email at privacy@bkpk.ai to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Your State Privacy Rights

State consumer privacy laws may provide their residents with additional rights regarding our use of their personal information. Therefore, depending on your location, you might have different rights applicable to you and your data. BKPK responds to rights requests according to applicable local law.

California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our App that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to privacy@bkpk.ai.

Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt-out of certain personal information sales. Residents who wish to exercise this sale opt-out rights may submit a request to this designated address: privacy@bkpk.ai. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt-out requirements.

As of the time this Privacy Policy was last updated, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia provide their state residents with rights to:

  • Confirm whether we process their personal information.
  • Access and delete certain personal information.
  • Correct inaccuracies in their personal information, taking into account the information’s nature processing purpose (excluding Iowa and Utah).
  • Data portability.
  • Opt-out of personal data processing for:
    • targeted advertising (excluding Iowa);
    • sales; or
    • profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects (excluding Iowa and Utah).
  • Either limit (opt-out of) or require consent to process sensitive personal data.

We must verify your identity before responding to your request. We do this by asking you to provide information that we can match against information we may have about you already. We may need to follow up with you to request more information to verify your identity. We will not use Personal Information we collect in connection with verifying or responding to your request for any purpose other than responding to your request.

We may have a reason under the law why we do not have to comply with your request, or why we may comply with it in a more limited way than you anticipated. If we do, we will explain that to you in our response. If you are entitled to appeal a decision regarding a consumer rights request, you must follow the process set forth in the notice of denial.

Sale of Personal Information

To personalize our ads and marketing experiences, we work with advertising and analytics partners and social media sites. These partnerships may be considered a “sale” under Colorado law, even when no money exchanges hands.

The Personal Information we might “sell” includes your identifiers, online activity information, and customer records. When you login to your account on a web page or interact with BKPK materials where cookies are present, that may be considered a “sale” of your Personal Information. We do not sell the personal data of children under the age of 18.

How We Respond To Do Not Track Signals

The “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) privacy preference is an option that may be made in some web browsers allowing you to opt-out of tracking by websites and online services. At this time, global standard DNT technology is not yet finalized and not all browsers support DNT. We therefore do not recognize DNT signals and do not respond to them.

Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Website like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Website.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Website.

If we learn of a security system breach we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. By using the Website or providing information to us, you agree that we can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy and administrative issues relating to your use of the Website. We may post a notice on our Website if a security breach occurs. We may also send an email to you at the email address you have provided to us. Our Website and products are intended for only the United States. If you are visiting the Website from a location outside of the U.S., your connection may be through and to servers located in the U.S. Any information you provide during your visit will be processed and maintained on our server and other internal systems located within the U.S. The U.S. may not have the same data protection laws as the country you are visiting from and may not afford many of the rights conferred upon data subjects in your country.
